On the heels of the summer 2009 launch of its iPhone navigation App, MobileNavigator, NAVIGON now expands its smartphone offerings in the North American market. We announced MobileNavigator for Windows phone and Andoid platforms at CES. MobileNavigator delivers an on-board navigation experience that transforms mobile phones into solutions comparable to common stand-alone navigation devices.
MobileNavigator for Windows phone and Android include many of NAVIGONS hallmark navigation features such as Reality View Pro and Speed Assistant. Both versions feature on-board navigation capabilities, which save the complete map material on the device and rely on the GPS receiver as well as the pre-loaded maps making it fully functional when no cell phone signal is available.
